May 18, Xiamen Tianma 6th generation flexible AMOLED production line project groundbreaking ceremony was held.
The total investment of the project is 48 billion yuan, with an annual planned investment of 7 billion yuan, is the largest investment in Xiamen's history of monolithic high-tech manufacturing projects, but also the largest volume of flexible AMOLED monolithic factory in China.
The project is expected to have a design capacity of 48,000 flexible display substrates per month, helping Tianma's flexible AMOLED capacity to rank among the top three in the world.
At present, Tianma has several industrial bases in Shenzhen, Shanghai, Wuhan, Xiamen, Chengdu and Japan with total assets of over 65 billion yuan.
In August 2019, Tianma Microelectronics Co., Ltd. and Xiamen Torch Hi-Tech Zone Management Committee signed the Investment Cooperation Framework Agreement, with a total investment of 48 billion yuan Tianma 6th generation flexible AMOLED production line project officially settled in Xiamen Torch Hi-Tech Zone.
