Huawei posts sales revenue of about $71.3 billion in first 3 quarters

Huawei achieved sales revenue of RMB 455.8 billion ($71.3 billion) and a net profit margin of 10.2 percent in the first three quarters, according to the company's financial report released today.

Guo Ping, Huawei's rotating chairman, said the company's overall operating results were in line with expectations, with business for general consumers suffering a large impact and company-oriented business performing steadily.

"We will continue to strengthen technological innovation, R&D investment and talent attraction, and continuously improve operational efficiency, and we are confident that we can continue to create value for our customers and society," Guo said.

"We thank our customers and partners for their trust and support of Huawei. We hope that through the tireless efforts of our global employees, we will work together to inject digital power into the sustainable development of the world," Guo said.
