Google, Facebook, and TikTok owner ByteDance were the publishers of the most downloaded apps in the world in May, SensorTower reports.
The report notes that Google, with 379 million downloads, is the top mobile app publisher in the May 2020 global download list, and is 2X that of May 2019.
It should be noted that the list only counts downloads from the App Store and Google Play, and does not include third-party Android markets in China and elsewhere.
Facebook is ranked #2 with 279 million downloads, up 15.4% from May 2019.
The app publishers ranked 4th and 5th are Voodoo and Crazy Labs.
