How to jailbreak iOS 13.5 with unc0ver on MacOS

The unc0ver team rencently released version 5.2.0 of the iOS jailbreak Tool, which supports the use on iOS 13.5.5 beta for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch devices jailbreak.

Although the beta system isn't very suitable for everyday use, users who want to try it out may still want to consider it.

For those who haven't updated to iOS 13.5 yet, you can refer to the guide provided on unc0ver's website and then Install and run iOS 13.5.5 beta 1 with unc0ver 5.2.0 Jailbreak.

Here is how you can jailbreak your iPhone running iOS 13.5 with unc0ver 5.2.0.

Note: Apple does not recommend jailbreaking, and the potential security risks are at your own risk.

Step 1: On a Mac computer, download AltStore for macOS from altstore.io, and move it to “Applications".

Step 2: Open AltServer.

If you see this alert, click “Open".

Step 3: Click the AltServer menu bar icon and select "Install Mail Plug-in”

Step 4: Click "Install Plugin" in the pop-up dialog box and enter your password.

Step 5: In the "Mail Plug-in Installed" confirmation box, click "OK.”

Step 6: Open the Mail application and click on "Mail" > "Preferences" > “Manage Plug-ins.”

Step 7: Check "AltPlugin.mailbundle", then click “Apply and Restart Mail". "

Step 8: Connect your iOS device to your Mac computer, open a Finder window, and go to “Locations" in the sidebar. Find your iOS device.

Step 9: Select your device and click on the "Trust" button if trust has not already been established between your Mac and iOS device, and make sure you trust the Mac on your iOS device.

Step 10: Click on the AltStore menu bar icon and select "Install AltStore" to your iOS device.

Step 11: Enter your Apple ID and password in the pop-up dialog box to authenticate yourself.

Step 12: Go to Settings > General > Device Management in your phone and trust AltStore.

Step 13: Tap AltStore on the phone's home screen and make sure it's launched.

Step 14: Open your phone's Safari browser and go to the unc0ver.dev website.

Step 15: Tap "Open in AltStore", and tap the "Open" button in the pop-up dialog box, and AltStore will reopen and begin downloading the unc0ver installer.

Step 16: Authenticate by entering your Apple ID and password on the "Welcome to the AltStore" page that appears.

Step 17: Once the Unc0ver download is complete, click the "7 days" button to start installing the Unc0ver jailbreak tool.

Step 18: Launch the Unc0ver app on your phone and click on the "Jailbreak" button to start the jailbreak, at which point the device will reboot.

Step 19: After the device reboots, launch the unc0ver app again and click the "Jailbreak" button to complete the jailbreak, at which point the device will reboot again.

Step 20: Click on the "Cydia" icon to start installing and using jailbreak apps, themes, tweaks, and more.
