China Mobile explains what to do in the face of 'SMS Bomb'-CnTechPost

Receiving hundreds or thousands of short messages in a short time? How can such a short message bomber be dismantled? China Mobile reminds that you can open a "SMS Bomb" SMS emergency protection service to protect you from harassment.

"SMS Bomb" SMS emergency protection service is a personal protection service launched by China Mobile in response to "SMS Bomb" SMS attacks. When users are harassed by "SMS Bomb", they can take the initiative to apply for SMS bomb emergency protection.

All users of China Mobile can handle it. Users can set the protection validity period according to their needs (the default is 1 day, the maximum time limit is 7 days, and the minimum protection unit is "days").

Activation method: Dial 10086 hotline or through 10086 Internet channels (client, WeChat public account and Alipay life number), you can activate and cancel SMS bomb protection service.

After the user activates the service, the system will block all port-type (including port, landline, and international number) short messages sent to the user during the protection period to prevent users from being harassed.

It should be noted that after the "SMS bomb" emergency protection is activated, users will not be able to receive service and notification text messages sent by various companies and websites during the protection period, which may affect the user's normal Internet activities. , Remember to cancel in time when the service is not needed.
