Tencent's TiMi Studio Group on Thursday announced a strategic partnership with Microsoft's Xbox Game Studios, details of which will be announced later this year.

TiMi, the boutique game development and operations team of Tencent Games, will work with Xbox Game Studios to create exceptional game content that will bring a new gaming experience to players' senses, according to an announcement.

Xbox Game Studios is a game studio owned by Microsoft and renamed from Microsoft Studios.

The studio contains the 13 teams that produce Age of Empires, Forza, Gears of War, Halo, Minecraft, and other titles.

TiMi was founded in 2014, and Honor of Kings is one of its most successful titles.

Sensor Tower, a leading mobile app data analytics company, recently released its global mobile game revenue rankings for April 2021, showing that Honor of Kings earned $258.8 million in April, reigning as the top-selling mobile game in the world.
