OnePlus founder and CEO Pete Lau has returned to OPPO as its senior vice president and head of the company's product line, thepaper.cn said, citing sources with knowledge of the matter.

OnePlus on Monday unveiled the new Hydrogen OS 11 for Chinese users, which will be available for the OnePlus 6 and newer OnePlus phones. Now, the Hydrogen OS 11 Developer Preview for OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro is available for download.

In addition to the new OnePlus Nord, OnePlus today also announced the OnePlus Buds, the company's first true wireless headphones.

OnePlus today unveiled the company's new mid-range phone, the OnePlus Nord, via an AR event. Instead of the flagship Snapdragon 800-series chipset, it's powered by a mid-range Snapdragon 765G processor.

The OnePlus Nord, which will be released on July 21, is already available for pre-order in India and Europe.
