The latest report from GSA shows that 70 commercial 5G networks have now been launched in 40 countries and territories around the world.

China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said that the progress of 5G network construction will accelerate in China, and it is expected that the number of 5G base stations nationwide will exceed 600,000 by the end of the year.

China Mobile said that it will comprehensively accelerate the pace of 5G network construction and strive to exceed the target of 300,000 5G base stations by 2020 in advance.

China's 5G package users exceed 26 million, but a large number of users do not use 5G mobile phones. 

China Telecom's mobile subscribers in February decreased by 5.6 million to 330.4 million, of which 5G package subscribers totaled 10.73 million as of the end of February.
