BYD said today that its new model, the Han, will be the world's first model to be equipped with Huawei 5G technology.
The BYD Han EV debuts with a BYD blade battery, which features higher safety, higher range and longer life. Combined with the new temperature control system, it has a combined NEDC range of 605km.
It accelerates from 0-100km/h in 3.9 seconds. The BYD Han EV is also the first mass-produced new energy vehicle to be equipped with the IPB intelligent integrated braking system.
BYD said Huawei's 5G technology will be used in in-car smart entertainment systems, as well as the DiPilot smart driver assistance system. With Huawei's 5G technology, BYD Han's many smart features and services will be worth looking forward to.
The BYD Han opened for pre-orders in April this year with a subsidized pre-sale price range of 230,000-280,000 yuan and is expected to go on sale in June.
