The leaked iOS 14 code shows that Apple plans to build language translation into the Safari browser and add full Apple Pencil support, according to 9to5Mac.ย
Safari's built-in translation feature will allow users to translate web pages directly without using third-party applications or services.
The report says that if iOS 14 has this feature, then the next generation macOS will also support it.
The code also shows that the translation feature will be available for all websites, and similar to Chrome's auto-translation feature, Safari users can also enable/disable auto-translation.
At the same time Apple seems to be testing options for automatic translation features in other apps, such as the App Store.
As for the Apple Pencil, Apple plans to provide full support for the Apple Pencil in a web browsing scenario, allowing it to not only scroll through / tap on a web page, but also have a more complete experience.
iOS 14 is expected to be released at Apple WWDC 2020 on June 22.
