Affected by the new coronavirus epidemic, three major events for developers in the tech world this year -- Apple WWDC, Google I/O, Microsoft Build -- have all been forced to change postponed or cancelled schedules.
It looks like things are going relatively well on Microsoft's side, as on May 1, Microsoft officially opened online registration for the Build 2020 conference and said that Build 2020 will take place on May 19 - 21, as scheduled, but instead of an online event.
Registered: Here.
The event will kick off with a keynote address by Microsoft CEO Nadella, and Microsoft also said that the father of the Surface, Microsoft Chief Product Officer Panos Panay, will also be present.
In other words, we can expect Microsoft to officially release the Surface GO 2 and Surface Book 3, the two long-rumored new Surface products at Build 2020.
It's also worth noting that online registration is free, and as a reference, previous Build 2020 tickets have been priced at a whopping $2,395, so those interested can check out the Microsoft website.
Microsoft's Build Developers 2020 conference is one of the largest annual conferences Microsoft holds in the city of Seattle.
Last year, more than 6,000 people from around the world attended the conference.
Microsoft unveiled a number of new products and services at Build2019, covering many technology areas such as cloud services, artificial intelligence, robotics, the Internet of Things, and more.
