Lenovo's mobile business chief in China, Chang Cheng, announced his departure on Weibo on Tuesday, saying "Everything you love is very likely to be lost but in the end love will return in a different WAY."
Chang Cheng joined Lenovo in 2000 as the R&D Director of the Notebook Division, responsible for the research and development of Lenovo's desktop computers, notebook computers and smartphones.
In 2011, Chang Cheng led the team to create Lenovo's first mobile Internet product, Lenovo Music Store, which was then the largest and most secure Android software and Android game free download platform in China.
The subsequent launch of Eggplant Quick Pass was Lenovo's first Internet product with over 100 million users, and it was also the best near-field cross-platform file transfer tool in China at the time.
Chang Cheng also led the incubation and research and development of YogaTablet, the world's most innovative tablet product, and created a smartphone that leads the trend of metal fashion design-Lenovo K900.
In December 2014, Chang Cheng became the co-founder of Magic Factory. In June 2015, he became CEO of ZUK.
