China's first 5G millimeter wave filter, jointly developed by Anhui Yunta Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., and the University of Science and Technology of China, was released recently, according to an announcement on Saturday by the Hefei Municipal Government.
Yunta is a company invested by Hefei High-tech Zone New Economy Development Fund.
This 5G millimeter wave filter is the first such miniaturized filter product developed by Chinese manufacturers in the 5G millimeter wave (mmWave) band.
The size of this product is only 2.5 ร 2.0mm, this type of filter works at 33GHz, the bandwidth is up to 2GHz, the in-band insertion loss is less than 2.7dB, and the out-of-band rejection exceeds 30dB.
At present, the global miniature filter solution working in the millimeter wave band is almost blank.
The 5G frequency band is mainly divided into two categories: Sub-6GHz and millimeter wave (mmWave). Among them, the Sub-6GHz frequency band is the focus of development at this stage.
The millimeter wave band with its ultra-high transmission rate, ultra-large capacity and extremely low delay will become the core direction of the next stage of 5G development.
