China Mobile's Migu Corp and the CBA announced today a strategic cooperation upgrade around 5G and the establishment of a 5G joint laboratory.

Through the cooperation, China Mobile has become an official partner of CBA in the next 5 years, and its Migu has become a strategic partner of CBA digital media in the next 5 years and an exclusive partner of 5G+ full scene.

Migu will receive Internet broadcasting rights for all CBA leagues and All-Star weekends in the next five years, as well as exclusive IPTV broadcasting rights for operators.

"

Jianqin, vice president of China Mobile, said that in the new cooperation cycle, China Mobile Migu will establish a 5G joint laboratory with the CBA alliance to explore more live broadcast technology based on 5G network transmission, promote business model innovation, and provide fansย ย Friends bring more diverse and immersive "CBA on the cloud" to jointly promote the construction of Chinese basketball culture.

On October 15, 2018, Migu and the CBA Alliance signed the first strategic cooperation agreement and launched the first live broadcast of 5G + 4K / 8K + VR sports events.

During the new cooperation period, Migu will jointly establish a 5G joint laboratory with the CBA alliance to carry out innovative exploration and cooperation based on 5G, and create 5G + full-scenario technology applications.

At the same time, the two parties will jointly develop 5G-based CBA competition production technology standards to jointly develop the Chinese basketball market.
