Patent shows Tencent may make chess robots with mechanical arms

Recently, Tencent announced the patent of "A Manipulator Device and Intelligent Chess Robot". The application date is December 12, 2019, and the announcement date is March 24, 2020.

The patent provides a manipulator device and an intelligent chess robot; the manipulator device includes: a first gripper including at least two first finger components, a second gripper including at least two second finger components, and a rotationย  driver.

In 2017, a 13-person Go artificial intelligence program Fine Art was developed in the Tencent Artificial Intelligence Laboratory for the first time to participate in the 10th UEC competition. In the final, it defeated DeepZenGo from Japan twice.
