Baidu is about to launch shopping function in live video streaming and its partners has been notified to recruit anchors and prepare products, but the launch date and platform policy have not been fully determined, according to Jiemian.com.

Baidu Live has launched a feature for personal anchors to sell goods in live broadcasts. Users can participate after real-name authentication, and currently only supports products from Taobao, JD.com and Duxiaodian.

Baidu said that live video streaming is the focus of Baidu's efforts. Baidu products will provide live video streaming with information and knowledge as the core according to user needs to help users grow.

A person in charge of a live broadcast guild said that Baidu Live gave the guild a higher share, which could reach 80%. At present, the share of Douyin and Kuaishou is about 50% ~ 60%, but the traffic and user quality of Baidu are not as good as Douyao and Kuaishou.

The guild has 1,000 show anchors on Baidu, with a monthly flow of 4-5 million yuan, and there are less than 200 show anchors on fast hands, and the monthly flow can reach several million yuan.
