Earlier today, Lenovo announced the ThinkPad X1 Fold with a foldable OLED screen and Intel processor. Now, Intel's own folding PC concept appears at CES 2020.
The prototype is called Horseshoe Bend, and the biggest difference from the X1 Fold is that it is larger.

When unfolded, the diagonals of the OLED display are 4: 3 and 17.3 inches, which means that when used on a table at an angle, it feels very close to the size of a traditional laptop.
It also has a Surface-style stand, so you can take full advantage of the size of the entire display when paired with a wireless keyboard.
Horseshoe Bend is based on Intel's new 10nm Tiger Lake architecture, which will be released in laptops later this year, enabling a 7mm chassis with a 7W TDP without any active cooling.
The device on the site is running regular Windows 10, but Intel claims that Microsoft's upcoming Windows 10X is a good fit for this category.
Intel is clearly pushing this form factor, and it hopes to work with multiple manufacturers to help develop these devices in the near future.
