The Xiaomi TV Stick, which appeared on overseas e-commerce platforms a few weeks ago, has been confirmed by Xiaomi Germany and gives the first official picture.
Judging from the poster, the Xiaomi TV Stick features a USB flash drive design with a skin-like frosted and metal spliced case that offers an HDMI 2.0 male port and a USB Type-C female port, the former for audio/video transfer and the latter for power.
Its remote control buttons are minimalist, similar to those of Xiaomi Box, Xiaomi TV. However, since it's aimed at overseas markets, three exclusive buttons for Google Assistant, Netflix, and Amazon Video have been added to direct to specific content platforms.
Other information is not yet available, as the earlier announcement said that the Xiaomi TV Stick is a plug-and-play device that is only 9.50 x 3.50 x 2.00 cm in circumference.
Its CPU is a Crystal Morning S905 Y2 processor (quad-core A53), matching Mali-G31 MP2 GPU, 2GB DDR4 RAM, 8GB ROM and supports dual-band Wi-Fi.
The TV Stick comes pre-installed with the Android 9.0-based TV operating system, outputs 4K HDR content, supports dual decoding of Dolby and DTS HD, and is priced at $79.99 and on sale for an undisclosed time.
