Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer Dreame Technology showcased its pure electric hypercar concept, the Nebula Next 01 Jet Edition, equipped with custom dual solid rocket boosters, in San Francisco.
The company is attempting to stand out in the fiercely competitive EV market through extreme engineering.
The rocket booster system can achieve a rapid response of 150 milliseconds and generate a maximum thrust of 100 kilonewtons, Dreame said on Monday.
This slashes the model's 0-100 km/h acceleration time to an astonishing 0.9 seconds, a figure that far exceeds the physical limits of current tire grip.
To complement the powerful output, Dreame has comprehensively upgraded the vehicle's chassis architecture.
Its intelligent chassis features a fully wire-controlled architecture, keeping response times under 1 millisecond.

Combined with an electromagnetic fully active suspension, the car's turning radius is reduced to less than 5 meters, and it supports tank turn capabilities.
In terms of power batteries, Dreame unveiled a sulfide-based solid-state battery. This 60Ah ultra-high-capacity battery has now entered the mass production preparation phase.
Laboratory data shows that its single-cell energy density exceeds 450 Wh/kg, nearly double that of traditional lithium-ion batteries.
Dreame also said the industry's transition from "Software-Defined Vehicles" to "AI-Defined Vehicles."
The model is equipped with the jointly developed next-generation automotive LiDAR DHX1. This thousand-channel LiDAR supports 4K ultra-high-definition perception with a maximum detection range of 600 meters, aiming to eliminate driving blind spots in extreme weather.
The original Nebula Next 01 concept car made its debut at this year's Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The 1,876-horsepower electric hypercar marks Dreame's crossover from smart cleaning devices to the automotive sector.
Founded in December 2017, Dreame is headquartered in Suzhou, Jiangsu province — a neighboring city to Shanghai.
Its products cover robot vacuums, cordless stick vacuums, smart wet and dry vacuums, high-speed hair dryers, and robotic lawnmowers, which have been sold to more than 120 countries and regions, according to its website.
The company officially announced its entry into car manufacturing in August 2025 and quickly completed its first round of financing.
Dreame plans to officially begin production of this hypercar, which rivals the Bugatti Veyron, starting in 2027. The company has partnered with BNP Paribas and plans to build a manufacturing plant on the outskirts of Berlin, Germany.
