According to IDC data, global wearables in 2019 will grow 29.4% year-on-year to 223 million, of which 41% will be smart watches. It can be seen that driven by consumer demand, smart watches have become a new growth point in the current consumer electronics field.
The growth trend of the smart watch market has been up ticking. Apple has reduced of the price of the old Apple Watch, other brands and manufacturers have also actively launched smart watches.
One of the reasons is that smart watches represented by Huawei and Glory continue to supply Apple Watch launches a challenge.
In September this year, Huawei released its fourth-generation smart watch, the Huawei Watch GT2. This product has achieved 1 million + sales in just 45 days after its release, which is 3 months earlier than last year's Watch GT series and 1 million sales. This confirms the strong demand for consumer smart watches in the wearable market.
Not long ago, Honor also launched a new generation of Honor Magic Watch 2. While continuing the advantages of long battery life of the previous generation, the product also added Bluetooth calling, independent music playback, and upgraded health functions again.
While the overall function is consistent with the Huawei Watch GT2, its price has been controlled to start at 1,099 yuan.
