As the only smartphone in China that doesn't yet support the BeiDou Satellite Navigation System (BDS), Apple's iPhone may soon be making a change.

Apple will release new iPhones, Apple Watch, AirPower, and iPad on September 8 and also iPad Pro, and Apple Silicon Macs on October 27, Twitter user @ihacktu said on Friday.

Apple may equip its new generation "iPhone 12" series smartphone with high-end 8P rear camera lens module, according to Tianfeng International analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

Apple's iPhone 12 models won't feature a 120Hz ProMotion display, according to display analyst Ross Young who has previously said that iPhone will only use ProMotion screen powered by low-power LTPO technology in 2021.

Previously it was reported that Apple plans to use BOE OLED panels in certain iPhone 12 models launching in 2020. However, due to manufacturing issues, latest report said BOE will not be the panel supplier of the first batch of Apple's new iPhones.

It was previously reported that Apple will launch a 4G version of the iPhone 12. Now according to the IT Times, a staff from Pegatron's ChangShuo factory in Shanghai said "there are three iPhone 12 models being proofing and each is available in 4G and 5G versions."

Apple's upcoming "iPhone 12 Pro" and "iPhone 12 Pro Max" will have screens with up to 120Hz refresh rates, thus providing a smoother screen experience, according to a prominent leaker.

The Apple iPhone 11 Pro comes with an 18W USB-C power adapter, but the cheaper iPhone 11 still comes with a 5W charger.

Later this month TSMC, the world's largest independent foundry, will begin production of Apple's custom-designed A14 Bionic chipset for the 2020 5G iPhone 12 model, according to Digitimes.

Apple's chip manufacturing partner TSMC will begin production of the A14 chip and Snapdragon X60 baseband this month for use in the 5G iPhone launching later this year, according to DigiTimes.
