Tesla China today released the long-range rear-wheel-drive version of the China-made Model 3, which will be priced at RMB 339,050 ($45,845) after subsidy and has a range of 668 kilometers.
At present, the standard version of Model 3 made in China starts at 322,800 yuan ($45,845) and has a cruising range of 450Km.
From the data released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, it can be seen that the body size of the long-range version is the same as that of the imported version.
The length, width and height of the body are 4694x1850x1443mm and the curb weight is 1745kg, which is 8Kg lighter than the imported version.
The new Tesla Model 3 long-range version is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor with a maximum power of 202kW and a peak torque of 404N · m. The battery system will be equipped with a ternary lithium ion battery pack with an energy density of 161Wh / kg.
At present, there is only one model of the Tesla Model 3 made in China. The "rear-drive standard version" has a total cruising range of 445Km, and the subsidized price will be 299,050 yuan.
The long-range version has a motor power of 202kW, a motor torque of 404N · m, and a comprehensive cruising range of 668km. Compared with the standard version, the cruising range is increased by 223Km, and the torque is increased by 29N · m.
Imported long-range motor power 258Kw motor torque 527N · m, comprehensive endurance 590Km. In contrast, the long-range version made in China has 56kW and 123N · m less power and torque than the imported version, but the cruising range is indeed 78Km longer.
