Recently, Huawei's "Petal Search" service has hit the AppGallery app store.
Huawei says that "Petal Search puts the world in the palm of your hand. Search for your favorite Apps for your phone with our state of the art technology.โ
The app will even allow apps from U.S. developers to be loaded although Google's core Android apps still remain off-limits.
Here WeGo Maps hit AppGallery in April, Huawei's attempt to replace Google Maps, and the launch of "Petal Search" can be seen as a move to replace Google Search.
"Petal Search" is now integrated into the AppGallery app store and helps users find apps and information without the Google Play store, in addition to a simple search.
Huawei launched its new Huawei AppGallery app store at the end product and strategy online launch on February 24. The Huawei Search App was already tested overseas and required the latest version of Huawei Mobile Services to be used.
