Baidu App resumes content updates for multiple suspended sections-CnTechPost

On April 7, Baidu was called in by Chinese regulators in response to serious violations in several sections of the Baidu App, and asked to stop the violations immediately.

Baidu App recommended channel, picture channel, video channel, financial channel, technology channel since April 8 at 9 a.m. to suspend the update to clean up the illegal content.

At present, the Baidu App is suspected to have completed the rectification, the above channel content has been restored.

Previously, the head of the Beijing Municipal Internet Information Office pointed out that the Baidu App violated the relevant state laws and regulations and management requirements on the Internet by disseminating a large number of vulgar and vulgar information and publishing intensive "click bait" articles.

Baidu has also been accused of lax management of public account registration and content audit, with prominent dissemination order and ecological problems and poor social impact.

Subsequently, Baidu said that it will strictly implement the management requirements, carry out a comprehensive rectification of the problem of violations, suspend the relevant channel updates, close the violation account.
