In response to a Chinese company's lawsuit over Siri infringement, Apple, which has been silent on the case, is responding for the first time.

On August 3, Chinese technology company Shanghai Xiaoi Robot Technology officially filed a lawsuit with the Shanghai Higher People's Court, demanding Apple to stop Siri patent infringement.

InterDigital, a US-based mobile and video technology research and development company, has filed two patent infringement actions in India against Xiaomi.

Huawei is reportedly recruiting lithography process engineers, which has sparked widespread interest. In fact, Huawei has already applied for patents for a lithography device and a lithography systems, which seem to have been prepared for the chip manufacturing process for a long time.

Huawei Technologies USA Inc. was sued on Monday in the Eastern District of Texas by a company called Cedar Lane Technologies, which claims Huawei is infringing on their image processing patents, according to the Lawstreetmedia website. 

Huawei has recently applied to patent "a method and apparatus for autonomous driving" with a filing date of December 27, 2018. The application was made public on July 10, 2020, Tianyancha data showed.

Huawei filed an application with INDECOPI on July 6, 2020 in Peru for a new trademark named MateStation that could be used for mobile docking accessories, similar to Samsung's DeX.

Huawei is likely working on a new foldable smartphone, but this one uses a different approach than the Mate X series' design.

In a new patent, Xiaomi has shown how the front and rear cameras on its future foldable smartphone will work simultaneously.

Huawei's new flagship Mate 40 series is expected to be released around October. Last year's Mate 30 series came with a number of innovative features, including a curved screen and virtual volume buttons that are Located on the edge of the screen, replacing the physical buttons.
