Huawei says the rule-change decision by the US government does not just affect Huawei. It will have a serious impact on a wide number of global industries.

Nikkei, in collaboration with Japanese professional research firm Fomalhaut Techno Solutions, has completed the teardown of the Huawei Mate30 5G version with the intention of finding out how Huawei has changed under the US blockade.

The U.S. Commerce Department is about to sign a new regulation allowing U.S. companies to work with Huawei on next-generation 5G network standards, Reuters said on Wednesday, citing sources familiar with the matter.

Recently, a line of words printed on the side of the packaging box of the Xiaomi 10 caused widespread concern, with some people accusing Xiaomi of ironic Huawei.

In the past 11 months, Huawei devices were banned from using Google applications. In response to this sudden market change, the company began to turn to the domestic market to increase equipment sales, while seeking advice on how to pass the US ban.

After the Huawei P40 was disassembled, it was found that US-made components were used. Its RF front-end modules were mainly from three American chip companies-Qualcomm, Skyworks and Qorvo, according to the Financial Times report.

The Trump administration said on Tuesday that it will renew Huawei's temporary license until May 15, during which time U.S. companies are allowed to continue doing business with Huawei, according to Reuters.

This will be the first year-on-year decline in Huawei's mobile phone shipments.

Huawei recently launched Huawei Search, another major move Huawei has made in the software ecosystem following the launch of Harmony OS, HMS services, and Huawei Maps.

A few days ago, Huawei pre-installed Huawei App Gallery (application market) and HMS service (Huawei Mobile Service) on Mate Xs and Honor V30 and X9 released overseas. This is also the most critical step that Huawei has taken since it officially proposed to build an HMS ecosystem in August 2019.
