Unisoc, a Chinese fabless semiconductor company, today introduced its 5G RF front-end solution, a modular design that reduces channel loss by 15% over the industry average and reduces size by 20%, enabling more design space for thin and slim smartphones.

China Telecom has started large-scale commercial use of its 5G SA (stand-alone) network in more than 300 cities, the world's largest, said Li Zhengmao, general manager of the Chinese operator, at its Smart Eco Expo on November 7.

China Broadcasting Network was officially inaugurated on October 12, making it the fourth telecom operator in China. Shareholders include Alibaba Venture Capital Management and State Grid Information and Communication Industry Group.
