Huawei will firmly build the HMS and Harmony OS ecosystem, with survival as the bottom line and priority to resolve overseas ecological issues, Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei’s consumer business, said in a new year letter to all employees of Huawei’s consumer business on Tuesday.

Huawei recently started the public test for its HMS (Huawei Mobile Service) in China and now users are sending initial feedbacks.

Ren Zhengfei said that Huawei will continue to grow in 2020, but the rate will not be very high, according to his interview by the Los Angeles Times on November 18 released by Huawei on Friday night.

Huawei P40, which will be unveiled in March next year, could be the company’s first phone running Harmony OS. Now there are reports saying it may also have Android system in it.
