Unitree has opened its first direct store in China, marking an increased bet on offline retail by the Chinese robot manufacturer.

The store officially opened on April 29 in Beijing, located on the first floor of the Wangfujing Yintai in88 mall, according to a Wednesday announcement.

The outlet showcases products including humanoid robots and robot dogs, allowing customers to interact and experience them up close during the upcoming Labor Day holiday which runs from May 1 to May 5.

The market had anticipated the preparation of this retail store, as consumers noticed store renovation hoardings in the Wangfujing commercial district late last year.

Unitree recently recruited store consultants with a monthly salary ranging from 10,000 yuan ($1,460) to 15,000 yuan, focusing on attracting sales talent with experience in the consumer electronics industry.

In addition, the company jointly opened an offline experience store in Beijing with e-commerce giant JD.com late last year, displaying products including the Go2 series quadruped robot dogs and the G1 humanoid robot.

While expanding its domestic offline retail network, the company is actively broadening its global footprint through cross-border e-commerce platforms.

Earlier this month, the company began selling low-priced humanoid robots overseas on the AliExpress platform, with its R1 model priced at about $8,150, including import fees.

The company's revenue reached 1.708 billion yuan in 2025, representing a year-on-year increase of 335.4%.

As the world's top company in humanoid robot shipments last year, it is currently preparing for an initial public offering of up to 4.2 billion yuan on Shanghai's STAR Market.
