OPPO today said it will explore the boundary between the digital and real worlds by launching a concept-level app, OPPO CybeReal, at the OPPO INNO DAY 2020 on November 17.
OPPO CybeReal is an AR super app based on full-time high precision positioning technology and scene recognition.
With the app on the phone, users can go anywhere and just turn on the camera, and CybeReal will appear corresponding information such as navigation, store event information, and attraction descriptions based on the images captured by the camera.
OPPO has already released its AR developer platform in 2018 and will also unveil the next generation of OPPO AR Glasses at Future Tech 2020.
The new AR glasses will feature a unibody design and key features include AR content, AR games, and AR services.
At OPPO INNO DAY 2019, OPPO Founder and CEO Ming-Yong Chen announced, "Over the next three years, OPPO will invest $50 billion in R&D budget to build the underlying hardware core technology as well as software engineering and system capabilities, in addition to continuing to focus on cutting-edge technologies such as 5G, artificial intelligence, AR and big data.
