From January to June, the total shipments of the Chinese mobile phone market totaled 153 million units, down 17.7% year-on-year.
In June 2020, 47 new mobile phones were launched in China, up 23.7% year-on-year.
From January to June, 216 new models were released, down 12.2% year-on-year.
As for 5G phones, in June 2020, 17.513 million units of 5G mobile phones were shipped in China, accounting for 61.2% of the total shipments.
From January to June, the cumulative shipment of 5G mobile phones in China totaled 63.597 million units, and the cumulative number of newly released models totaled 105, accounting for 41.5% and 48.6% respectively.
