According to leaked CAD files and sources, @EverythingApplePro and @MaxWinebach shared the rendering video of "iPhone 12 Pro Max" on Twitter and YouTube.
It can be seen that the near-completed new machine design includes details such as smaller notch notches in line with earlier reports.
According to the release rhythm of previous years, Apple should release new iPhone 12 series mobile phones as scheduled in September this year.
However, EverythingApplePro and @MaxWeinbach emphasized in the video that the prototype design is close to 70%.
Earlier reports such as 3D printing models claimed that the iPhone 12 Pro Max has a flatter border similar to the iPad Pro.
The screen of the machine is expected to be 6.7 inches, which is larger than the 6.5 inches of the iPhone 11 Pro Max, but the notch position has further contracted.
Although the overall size of 3D printing seems a bit large, the thickness of the new machine is expected to be reduced from 8.1 mm to 7.4 mm, and the frame around the screen has been reduced to only 0.9 mm.
The size and position of the camera have not yet been finalized, but it is said that the square rear camera module of the iPhone 12 Pro Max will slightly protrude, and the long models are 5mm larger than the current models.
If Apple can shrink the current convex lens module back slightly, the casing can provide better protection for it. In addition to the LiDAR sensor, Apple is said to be working on other different solutions.
There is a saying that the size, depth and roundness of the Face ID gap are improved, and may even be further hidden in the future.
However, the leaked CAD information indicates that the notch size of the iPhone 12 Pro Max is similar to the current model, but the installation method on the screen is slightly different.
The left is the iPhone 11 Pro Max, and the right is the 2020 3D printed model.
The prototype also revealed a wider 1.83mm antenna band (iPhone 11 Pro Max is only 1 mm), which is obviously necessary for 5G support.
The antenna band is located in the same position on both sides of the phone, but there may be further adjustments later, and the SIM card tray has been moved to the other side.
CAD drawings and models also show that the bottom opening is similar to the old one, except that the speaker grille on the right side of the Lighting connector has one less hole, but the volume will be increased by 10 ~ 15% and has an improved dynamic range.
