After the release of the Unity Operating System (UOS), some users questioned that it is not difficult to see from the UOS interface, design and code that it is Deepin that changed its appearance. Regrading this, its developer Union Tech responded today.
Union Tech said that UOS was developed by their team. The company was officially established on November 14, 2019. It is composed of many domestic companies engaged in operating systems, including Wuhan Deepin Technology, ArcherMind Technology and ZTE New Pivots.
Deepin is the flagship product of Wuhan Deepin Technology. It is the only distribution developed by a Chinese team that is among the top ten in the international Linux distribution list. Deepin OS has been downloaded 80 million times and supports 33 languages. The independently developed desktop environment has been ported to 14 international distributions including Ubuntu, Fedora, and Arch.
Deepin can be said to be the most popular operating system in China due to its aesthetics, ease of use, and localization. Deepin operating system is the community version of the unified operating system UOS.
In simple terms, the relationship between Deepin and the unified operating system UOS can be likened to Fedora and Redhat RHEL.

Union Tech said that the difficulty in the development of operating systems is ecological construction. In this regard, the unified operating system has received strong support from industry partners since its release.
This allows the unified operating system to complete the adaptation of four architectures and six CPUs in a short period of time. The basic adaptation work is done well, paving the way for the subsequent adaptation of software and hardware ecological products.
Union Tech also said that the next issue will reveal the "killer" of the unified operating system UOS.
