On May 17, China Unicom and ZTE Corporation signed a 6G joint strategic cooperation agreement.

Two former ZTE engineers, Surnamed Huang and Wang, were sentenced on suspicion of violating trade secrets in what was the country's first criminal case involving 5G technology infringement of intellectual property rights, according to the Nanfang Daily.

ZTE Axon 11 5G will be released at an online event on March 23, ZTE said on Weibo today.

Huawei ranked first in the 5G industry with 3147 patents, and ZTE ranked third with 2561, a report by patent data company IPLytics showed.

At the end of last year, ZTE announced some specifications of the Axon 10s Pro, saying that it will be available early this year. Now, ZTE has launched a detail page on its website showing details the phone.

ZTE will participate in MWC 2020 Barcelona as planned, showcasing its 5G end-to-end solutions and devices, the Chinese smartphone maker and telecom giant said on Twitter on Wednesday.
