Xiaomi has launched a massive 100-trillion-token creator incentive plan aimed at accelerating the development of its AI ecosystem.

The tech giant plans to distribute a total of 100 trillion free tokens to eligible developers over the next 30 days, according to an announcement on Tuesday.

The application-based incentive program for AI developers is primarily designed to attract more users to experience its newly open-sourced MiMo-V2.5 series models.

Xiaomi also rolled out an agent ecosystem co-building plan and has partnered with agent framework providers including OpenCode, Hermes Agent, and KiloCode, the announcement said.

The Xiaomi MiMo-V2.5-Pro model, officially open-sourced on Tuesday, performed well in multiple industry benchmarks, surpassing several mainstream open-source and closed-source models.

The model series has already completed integration and adaptation with leading domestic and international chipmakers, including Amazon Web Services, AMD, and Baidu Kunlunxin, according to the announcement.

To further lower the barrier to entry for global developers, Xiaomi announced significant adjustments last week to its recently introduced token subscription pricing plans.

The new plans eliminated certain complex billing methods and offered developers an additional 20% discount on token consumption during specific early morning hours, Beijing time.

This series of incentives highlights Xiaomi's aggressive push to rapidly expand its market share amid intensifying competition in the AI sector.

Earlier this month, the daily token calls for Xiaomi's flagship AI model surpassed the crucial industry milestone of 1 trillion for the first time.

Xiaomi is currently making a massive bet on the AI agent era through large-scale resource investments, seeking to accelerate the commercialization of its AI services.

Lei Jun, founder, chairman, and CEO of Xiaomi, revealed last month that the company's total research and development and capital investment in AI is expected to exceed 16 billion yuan ($2.3 billion) this year.

Xiaomi has released its flagship AI model, MiMo-V2-Pro, which boasts over 1 trillion parameters and is designed to handle high-intensity agent workflows.
