Alibaba Cloud's market share reached 9.5%, ranking third in the world and first in Asia-Pacific, surpassing Google Cloud Platform's 6.1%, according to data recently released by research firm Gartner.
In 2020, the global IaaS (infrastructure as a service) market reached $64.286 billion, up 40.7% year-on-year, with AWS, Microsoft Azure and Alibaba Cloud ranking in the top three globally.
