Xiaomi announced the Xiaomi 11 yesterday, the first smartphone to be powered by the Snapdragon 888 processor, and many people wondered when the Xiaomi 11 Pro will be released.
According to Weibo digital blogger @数码闲聊站, only the base version of Xiaomi 11 will be available before the Chinese New Year, and the Xiaomi 11 Pro will be released only after the Chinese New Year (February 12).
Xiaomi 11 features a 6.81-inch 2K quad-curved AMOLED screen that supports 120Hz refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling rate.
The device is capable of reaching a peak screen brightness of 1500nit and also supports 10bit color depth.
Xiaomi 11 debuts with Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 888 chip, which uses a 5nm process to deliver a 25 percent performance boost and 25 percent lower power consumption compared to the previous generation Snapdragon 865 processor.
Xiaomi 11 is equipped with 4,600mAh battery and supports 55W wired fast charging, 50W wireless fast charging and 10W reverse charging.
As previously reported, Xiaomi 11 is well stocked this time, with a planned scale of millions.
Xiaomi 11 also has an exclusivity period for Snapdragon 888 and will be available first for the first two months, making it the only phone with Snapdragon 888 in stock in large quantities before the Chinese New Year.
