Huawei announced today that it will launch its new in-car smart screen powered by Huawei HiCar on October 30, the same day it plans to unveil its new Mate40 series of phones in China.
Weibo digital blogger @长安数码君 then said that Huawei will showcase the product in real vehicles on November 5.
Previous media reports said that Huawei's new car smart screen will come with HarmonyOS 2.0.

This product is not a central control screen for the car, it can be placed in the car, similar to the size of a tablet, and aggregates most of the Huawei smartphone functions suitable for the car's mobile scenarios, such as listening to music, watching videos, making phone calls, surfing the Internet and playing games.
Last year, Huawei's consumer business executives revealed that Huawei's smart screen strategy covers four scenarios: home, office, car, and sports.
In early September, Huawei Electric Technology Co Ltd was established with a registered capital of 250 million yuan, with Huawei holding a 100 percent stake. The company's business scope includes engineering technology research and test and development; manufacturing and selling smart car devices.
