Apple released iOS 13.6 and iPadOS 13.6 Developer Previews Beta 2 today , which comes about a week after the previous update.
The update, with version number 17G5045c, focuses on bug fixes and performance improvements.
On June 2, Apple released the iOS 13.5.5 Developer Preview Beta update, this time the iOS 13.6 Beta 2 appears to be the successor to iOS 13.5.5 Beta.
The Beta 2 of iOS 13.6 adds finer control over the download and installation of iOS updates.
In earlier versions of iOS, new system software updates were downloaded automatically in the background and could then perform installation automatically. In iOS 13.6, Apple has provided new control switches for customizing automatic updates.
Now, you can control whether to download the updates automatically or install the updates automatically after download.
It has a "Download iOS Updates" switch to turn on automatic downloads over Wi-Fi, and a "Install iOS Updates" switch is used to automatically install software updates at night after downloading. Your iPhone must be in charge and connected to a wireless LAN to complete the update.
This option is enabled by default, so if you want to turn off automatic downloads, you need to turn it off.
You can do this by opening Settings, selecting General, tapping Software Update, and then you will find these settings.
