According to Jon Prosser of YouTube channel Front Page Tech, Apple's rumored iPhone 12 lineup will start with 128GB of storage, which would be double the 64GB of base storage Apple has offered over the past three years.
Prosser revealed this information in its latest video, claiming that the 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch iPhone 12 models will offer 128GB or 256GB of storage, while the 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro models will have 128GB, 256GB and 512GB of storage options.
All four models are expected to feature OLED displays, 5G support, and faster A14 chips.
Over the years, Apple has gradually increased the base storage capacity of the latest iPhones, from 16GB to 32GB for the iPhone 7 and from 32GB to 64GB for the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X.
Apple is expected to release the iPhone 12 series of smartphones in September, though at least one model may not be available until October or November.
