Following CM, Paranoid, now comes another Android 10-based third-party ROM, the CarbonROM.
The release is codenamed PAX, internal version v8.0, and incorporates Google's April security patch.
The first 13 models that can be fitted with CarbonROM include Xiaomi A2/6X/ Xiaomi Tablet 4, Redmi Note 7/Note 5/7K30, OnePlus 6/6T/7 Pro, Google Nexus 4/6, Essential Phone.
The inclusion of Google's Nexus 4, released 8 years ago, was indeed a bit out of surprise.
CarbonROM is already a clean and simple product, but this time around, a lot of work has been done to make it easier to change fonts and change the status bar to a new battery icon style.
