Apple released the MacBook Air 2020 on Wednesday, upgrading to Intel's 10th-generation Core processors with a scissors-type keyboard.
According to Apple's introduction, the MacBook Air 2020 model uses Intel Ice Lake-U processor, 10nm process, and Apple's custom processor is higher than the corresponding model in Intel's official website.
Apple said that the MacBook Air 2020 models can choose up to i7 processor, clocked at 1.2GHz, Turbo frequency up to 3.8GHz, equipped with 8MB L3 cache.
Corresponding to this is Intel's public version of the i7-1060G7 processor, which has a main frequency of 1GHz, a core frequency of 3.8GHz, a TDP of 9W, and a 12W configurable TDP with a main frequency of 1.3GHz.
In addition, the MacBook Air 2020 model has an i5 processor clocked at 1.1GHz, while the Intel public version of the i5-1030G7 clocked at 800MHz.
Thanks to the 10nm Core processor upgrade, the MacBook Air 2020 model is also equipped with faster and stronger 3,733MHz LPDDR4X memory, up to 16GB.
