The server product TongWeb from Beijing Dongfangtong Technology has completed compatibility adaptation with the China-made Unity Operating System (UOS), Union Tech, the company behind the system said on Friday.
The adaptation was made on UOS that runs on CPU platforms including Loongson, Feiteng, Kunpeng, Zhaoxin, and Haiguang.
TongWeb complies with Java EE 5, Java EE 6, and Java EE 7 standards, and supports monitoring and diagnosis, snapshot analysis systems, enhanced APM tools, and smart housekeepers.
It provides security functions such as JAAS, SSL, and security manager, which can prevent SDoS attacks, disable insecure HTTP methods, prevent web page nesting, support national secret algorithms, separation of three members and security audits.
The UOS is a Linux kernel-based operating system developed by Union Tech. It has desktop and server versions. It supports notebooks and desktops of Loongson, Feiteng, Zhaoxin, Haiguang, Kunpeng and other chip platforms.
On January 14, Union Tech released the V20 stable versions of UOS for desktops and servers, which is also the first official version of the UOS V20 series. In December 2019, Union Tech released first version to the public.
This time it was first launched for partners and developers. The main purpose is to make sure users without technical background can use the operating system more safely and stably in the near future.
