AOC was the No. 1 brand in China's monitor shipments in January 2020 with Philips and HKC ranking second and third, latest data showed.
In January 2020, AOC shipments rose 72% month-on-month. Followed by Philips, HKC, Dell, Samsung, ViewSonic, Asus, HP, Great Wall, according to Video Hall.
According to a report from chinastarmarket.cn, Huawei will enter the monitor field and will launch commercial, home, gaming, curved and other types of displays, which are expected to be available in the second half of the year.
The report cited industry sources as saying that Huawei has set up six teams to research the monitor market and has contacted more than 90% of foundries nationwide.
According to 21st Century Business Herald, multiple sources said that Huawei monitors will hit the market soon, of which a 23.8-inch product will be released first.
A panel industry veteran told the paper that Huawei has a display team and at present only 23.8 inches are certain. "It is under development and is scheduled to hit the market in Q2."
In October last year, Xiaomi also launched two displays, namely a 23.8-inch FHD home display and a 34-inch 3440x1440 resolution/144Hz gaming display.
