Apple today released the first developer beta of iOS 13.4 and iPadOS 13.4, a week after the official release of iOS 13.3.1. There is evidence that iOS 13.4 supports CarKey which can turn iPhone into a car key.
In iOS 13, Apple has streamlined the toolbar of the Mail app into two buttons: Delete and Reply. Both buttons are located on the right side, and some users have indicated that they often make mistakes.
In the latest iOS 13.4 beta, Apple has modified this design, and the Mail toolbar is back to the iOS 12 design, including four buttons: delete, move, flag, and reply.
iOS 13.4 includes the CarKey API, which allows users to unlock, lock, and activate vehicles using iPhone and Apple Watch.
According to the internal documents of the system, CarKey is compatible with NFC-enabled vehicles. Users can unlock the iPhone by holding the iPhone close to the vehicle. Face ID verification is not required. It also means that iPhone can be used to unlock the car when it is out of power.
The pairing process requires the use of a wallet app, and the application of the vehicle manufacturer needs to be installed to complete the setup. After pairing, the CarKey will be in the wallet app and can be easily added to the Apple Watch.

The first developer beta of watchOS 6.2 was also released today. This upgrade adds in-app purchases to the Apple Watch App Store.
Apple requires developers to prepare for watchOS in-app purchases and officially launch this feature when the official version of watchOS 6.2 is released.
The watchOS App Store was added in watchOS 6, allowing Apple Watch users to download and install apps directly on Apple Watch without the need for an iPhone. After the release of watchOS 6.2, developers can create watchOS applications that support in-app purchases, including premium content, subscriptions, and more.
In addition to iOS 13.4, Apple today also released the first beta of macOS Catalina 10.15.4. macOS 10.15.4 is one week away from the official release of 10.15.3.
It's unclear what new features have been added to the fourth patch of macOS Catalina.
