Huawei started the EMUI10 public test for its Mate X foldable smartphones. Users can open the "Services" App-Services-Upgrade get the firmware, according to Huawei EMUI official Weibo.
It should be noted that before upgrading Mate X, the "Service" App needs to be updated to the latest version.
Huawei previously announced the EMUI 10 upgrade plans for February and March. It plans to launch internal beta test for models including Nova 5, Nova 5i Pro, Nova 5z, and Honor 20S in February 2020; Nova 5i, Huawei Enjoy 10S, Honor 20 Youth Edition will get the EMUI 10 internal beta in early March 2020.
Huawei Mate X was released on February 24 last year. He Gang, president of Huawei 's consumer business mobile phone product line, revealed at the time that the monthly production capacity of Mate X is expected to reach 100,000 units.
On January 9, Huawei told Guancha.cn that the Mate X ships 100,000 units per month.
This means the total sales volume is about 200,000 units since the sale of the device starts on November 15. At present, the sales window of this model has been extended from only Friday to Tuesday and Friday.
Its successor the Mate Xs equipped with Kirin 990 5G Soc chip will be available in March this year.
