360 Safe Browser, one of China's most popular web browsers, has completed the adaptation with the Unity Operating System (UOS), the system’s developer Union Tech said on Sunday.
360 Safe Browser was released in 2007 and currently boasts of having more than 400 million active users in China, with a market penetration rate of 82%.
It has more than 1,100 patents in China and has national password product qualifications. It is the first browser in the country to support national secret algorithms.
At the same time, through the commercial cryptographic algorithm module and domestic security protocol module carried by the 360 Safe Browser, UOS will fully support national secret communications, Union Tech said.
It is worth noting that this adaptation work also marks the first online playback of high-definition 1080p video on a Chinese-made CPU, Union Tech said.
As a browser product with the largest domestic market share, 360 secure browsers, and full cooperation with Union Tech is the icing on the cake for UOS, Union Tech said.
As an operating system with the aim of replacing Microsoft's Windows, the UOS has created quite a lot of fanfare.
In December 2019, Union Tech released first version of the UOS to the public. On January 14 it released the V20 stable versions for desktops and servers, which is also the first official version of the UOS V20 series.
