Say hello to Split screen on iPhone, smaller call HUD, always on display, GIF keyboard in addition to better performance, stability and battery life.
That’s the introduction of an iOS 14 concept created by the Hacker 34. Typically such concepts are designed to raise eyebrows and have features that may never become reality. But this one is different.
As stated above, Hacker 34 imagined the next iOS to have Split View, a redesigned call screen, keyboard GIFs, drag and drop and switching between multiple Apple ID accounts, simply by swiping between them in settings.
There are also always-on display, complications for your Lock screen inspired by Apple Watch, and settings to change your default apps for browsing, messaging, navigation and the ability to place apps anywhere on the Home screen.
Those are all practical functions that a lot of iPhone users may have been demanding for. They are also not that difficult to implement for Apple. So let’s see if any of them will become available or not.
You can check the video on the top and here are some of the screenshots.
Interestingly enough, last month cnTechPost picked up a video about an iPhone 12 Pro Max concept, which is also not that outlandish.
In that video, designer Hasan Kaymak showed us a device based on the design of the iPhone 11 Pro Max but finally gives up on the notch.
Hasan believes the iPhone 12 Pro Max will also add a 3D ToF sensor to back camera to keep up with the trends. With this add on, now you can scan objects and save them as 3D Items, in order to 3D print them, for example.
The bezels still feel kind of big and we still get the combo of glass + metal + glass.
With the latest iOS 14 concept out, we can help but imagine what it will look like if the two were combined.
