Huawei ranked No. 1 in China's smartphone market with 35.1 million units shipped in the third quarter and a market share of 41.4 percent, more than double that of second-place Vivo, data released today by IDC showed.

China's smartphone market continued to contract in the third quarter of this year, with shipments down 14 percent year-on-year, market research firm Counterpoint said in a report on October 29.

A total of 79.83% of college students are willing to support local products and have expectations for the development of domestic brands, according to a recent survey by China Youth Daily.
