Chinese smartphone giant OPPO disclosed a patent related to brainwave information transmission that has been granted on June 1, with an application date of March 2018, data provider Tianyancha information shows.
The patent abstract shows that its control method can effectively transmit the brainwave information of the first user to the second user accurately.
It is not the first time for OPPO to apply for a patent in the field of brainwave.
On April 6 of this year, OPPO disclosed a patent related to the brainwave acquisition method, which can improve the efficiency and accuracy of brainwave signal acquisition by electronic devices.
On April 2, OPPO disclosed patents related to sleep training methods, which mentioned the acquisition and use of brainwave technology.
These OPPO patents may be related to the company's health devices.
Since 2020, OPPO has been laying out its own IoT ecosystem with numerous wearable devices.
OPPO bands have built-in optical blood oxygen sensors and optical heart rate sensors, which can monitor the body's blood oxygen saturation and breathing status in real-time.
OPPO Watch ECG version has also passed the registration certification of Class II medical devices by the State Drug Administration of China.
